The Imagine Network™ Programs

Designed to provide opportunities for those utilizing mental health and recovery services to interact and participate with other community members who share a lived experience with a mental illness, as well as people who have mental health challenges, in a safe and empowering environment. The Imagine Network programs can be a single event, a series, or virtual! Each is staffed by CPS who are available to listen, talk, or simply answer questions.

STORY-SLAM STYLE. RECOVERY-FOCUSED. EVENTS FOR HUMANS.

STAND-UP to Stigma!©

Emotional growth taught through the art of comedy, taught by professional comedians with their own lived-experience with mental illness and substance use disorders. For kids and adults alike. Real. Funny. People.

Speaking from the Heart

Speakers from The Heart and Mind Connection mix touching, poignant and often humorous stories on a wide variety of topics - including personal struggles with mental illness, trauma, substance abuse, wellness practices and adversity. All are available to be formatted for any setting or audience, from keynotes, breakout sessions, company trainings and retreats, school assemblies, veterans groups and youth programs. Also available as a series. Reach out to discuss the possibility for your event.

*Course and program costs may be subsidized through Grants, scholarships, employers or insurance.

The Heart and Mind Connection is Minnesota's only Peer-run and veteran-led mental health and substance use recovery, advocacy and awareness 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to develop connection, foster purpose and empower ourselves and others struggling with hope, through education, suicide prevention programming and legislative activism.
